Lava Cake- The good....and the bad
I had the wonderful pleasure of hosting a pampered chef party last night for my good friend Carol Pittman (call her to schedule your own party!). It was an evening of good friends, good food, and great laughs. While we got to learn about all the awesome gadgets that pampered chef has to offer (call her!), we also got to make a delish meal consisting of veggie pizza and dun dun dun.........lava cake. (awesome, call her).
The party consisted of some of my dear friends and in the mix was 2 3 year olds, a 1 year old, an 11 year old, and a 10 year old. (These included my own). This was a truuuuuueeee par-t. My daughter and her best friend, Kallie, "offered" to babysit so we could enjoy each other's company and learn how to prepare with the awesome tools from.......Pampered Chef (706-264-3617 Carol).
The pizza consisted of pillsbury pizza dough, 2 types of cheeses mixed with some italian seasoning, onion, mushroom, tomato, and a little olive oil. No sauce on this one. Hmmmm..........you're probably thinking. Pizza without the sauce?? Tis so..........Let me just tell you that the pizza was devoured as soon as it came out. Everyone and I mean everyone LOVED it. But the fun wasn't over just yet.
While we were consuming the pizza, the lava cake was in the microwave. Microwave! Pampered Chef (Carol Pittman 706-364-3617) has this invention, also a rice cooker among many things, that you put your cake mix, eggs, oil, and frosting in it, stick it in the microwave and voila..........13 minutes later (time varies with each microwave) you have an awesome lava cake that is to die for. You could make cake EVERY day!!!
So what's the bad you say?? When the cake (pampered chef!) came out of the microwave I began to cut it up for all the drooling guests. Cayli's friend, Kallie, who I love dearly had Ella in her arms. She enthusiastically came into the kitchen to get a slice and Ella being the curious child she is, decided to stick her hand in the cake. She just LOVES food. After 20 minutes of screaming, benadryl, tylenol, a bottle, and her mommy, she finally fell asleep. Poor Kallie...............she felt soooooo bad but.......accidents happen, especially around my family. So today Ella is happy go lucky, except for the grape size blister on her finger........
In conclusion, great things also have their downfalls.
You know you want to call Carol Pittman (706-364-3617) for your very own Pampered Chef party!!!!!
